To field author email

First of all: great plugin! Thanks for being so straightforward.

I’m using the forms on my posts and I was wondering if it’s possible in any way to make the to field go automatically to the author’s email address?

The posts are created by different kind of authors and I want that when a form is filled in it automatically goes to the correct email address.

I know that you can capture the author’s email address with: <?php the_author_email(); ?> but i’m not sure it will help when using the plugin.
