To change, upload your website into public_html directory

  • Hi there,

    I’ve been searching the forum about this notification I get on my website but I’m to new in this to move folders or change database etc.

    My case: I have mywebsite.com which is online and I can edit via wp-admin. I would like this exact same website to have the domain myNEWwebsite.com so I (under a new username at my webhoster) only purchased myNEWwebsite.com using the nameservers of mywebsite.com.

    When I try to go to mynewwebsite.com I get this message: ”To change this page, upload your website into the public_html directory”.
    Also can I not access myNEWwebsite.com/wp-admin (URL not found).

    How do I get myNEWwebsite.com up and running with all the information/layout/etc of mywebsite.com

    In this area I’m totally new so a step-by-step offered solutation would be greatly appreciated!
