/tmp/theme_temp_setup what is this

  • hi , suddenly my wordpress error Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘<‘ in /tmp/theme_temp_setupb1fUKP on line 2

    i found lots of files in /tmp with filename theme_temp_setupxxxx

    and inside those files contained :

    am i hacked or ?
    i cant find hwo to fix the problem since i dont know where the php files is locate on my vps.

  • I have the same issue/problem.

    The instructions here do not work, just everything as prescribed and the problem is back.

    Hello,

    I was hacked too 2 months ago. I removed those files, reinstalled the theme & installed Akismet & IPCountryblocker. And I thought everything was back to normal except for 1 small thing: When I try to login on wordpress I have to fill in my username and password 2 times. The first try I’m getting this error: ‘Invalid username or email’ while I’m 100% sure that the username and password are correct.
    This only happens the first time. When I login, logout and retry to login I’m not getting this error.
    As I lost my site 3 weeks due to this hack, I’m afraid that the hack has left some code on my site that is causing this problem. Any idea how to fix this problem?
