  • same happened to me, just get your host to clear it

It’s a VPS server, so I am the host.

I’m clearing it every ten hours now, but I want it to stop filling up. W3TC keeps creating temp files every ten seconds.

W3CTC is a cache manager, you know…it is supposed to cache things elsewere, like in your tmp folder.

I’m really sorry for the trouble, this is a result of trying to reverse the issues caused by changing from our own activation / file management scheme to using the WP FileSystem API as recommended by the WP core developers. The next release should hopefully be the end of this saga.

When will the new release come out? I’m clearing out my tmp folder every hour and it’s filling up VERY fast.

Next release is 0.9.2.8? Planned on?
