Fixed the issue, it was a different plugin that was effecting it.
The options are now available again.

Can you please share the plugin that was “affecting” it?
This is not an isolated issue, it happens to me, and to others. It seems to me that incompatibility between this and other plugins is more like a bug in this plugin than in the others.

@kisshomaru: How does it seem that way? The menu is added with the native WP function, add_menu_page, with it’s own unique slug, theme_my_login. I have no idea what other plugins are doing that is removing it.

Don’t know… Could it be that it tries to be the first one in the list (if I remember properly)?
It is not isolated to me alone, so there is a genuine issue somewhere.

I’ve had reports of the menu not showing when some TinyMCE plugin is active.

With that said, I just installed both “Ultimate TinyMCE” and “TinyMCE Advanced” and my TML settings still appeared.

Basically the TML wasn’t the issue, it was another plugin that effected the permissions of new blog subscribers.

As Jeff has said all plugins work different and can affect in different ways.

The plugin that gave me issue was Train-Up. I’ve since removed it.

I was able to confirm that Ultimate TinyMCE conflicts with TML.
I believe it is all about the order in which they are installed too…
    What I did:
    – Deactivated Ultimate TinyMCE (it was the first in the menu list)
    – TML appeared by magic (still the first)
    – Activated back Ultimate TinyMCE
    – TML dissapearred again (replaced in the first position)
    How I solved it:
    – Uninstalled Ultimate TinyMCE
    – TML is there
    – Installed back Ultimate TinyMCE
    – It did not go on the first menu position this time, but down in the list, so now both are showing up.
    Bottom line:
    1. There is a conflict, probably if the TML was installed after Ultimate TinyMCE and then on some upgrade either of one or the other, they both try to occupy first position (TML never wins though)
    2. Why does TML always go on the first position even if installed after others? – Solving this might solve future such conflicts.

I’ll post this in the other thread and mark it as solved, however it is not really solved but rather worked around it…

TML uses the native add_menu_page function, without specifying a position.
