TM special character in emails

Hello Team,
I run a webshop where we sell products that are trademarked and protected. This means that all product names contain the ? symbol, but woocommerce emails have problems with visualising the ? symbol. It becomes an image. I have exchanged all ? symbols in the product titles with the appropriate html entity, but it’s not helping.

After some testing, I found that my site is showing the same behavior. Interestingly, this is actually WordPress behavior. Here’s some more information as well as a possible workaround:
