Titles to appear in category archives

Hi all,

After having given up on getting category pages to work, I made do with the URL re-direct page-to-category solution which is working fairly OK.

Unfortunately the way that category lists are displayed in this theme (News 640) isn’t very presentable. I want to have the article’s title on display as well as a snippet of its text.

If anyone can help please let me know how to do this.
