Titles on featured image sliders + background colours

    I’m switching my website over from a .com site to a .org site, and and trying to make it look the same.

    I’m having two major problems:

    1. I can’t get rid of the text/title that is showing in the featured image sliders. I want images only, no title.

    2. I can’t change the background colour. I set it in the customization page, but it’s showing as black.

    Okay! So I figured out most of the above…

    But for some reason there’s a big block of nothingness under my featured images. Anyone have a suggestion for that?

    Oh never mind all of it. I found a pug in and all is well. I worked on this ALL day and I find the answers only after I post a question.
