Titles are not importing correctly

I noticed that the forum mods sent you over, but the same reply I left on the other topic applies to you because Rank Math is a literal code copy+paste of Yoast SEO with a different interface and some tweaked functions — they even experience the same bugs.

So, I’ll paste my reply from the other topic here:

Please note that the Transport extension will not transport metadata that doesn’t exist. Yoast SEO’s clone will not store metadata if you do not adjust the meta title or meta description; instead, it will fall back on the default configuration to create its titles and descriptions. Transport won’t use this data for transporting.

Nevertheless, could you please tell me what title you had filled in with Yoast SEO’s clone (a screenshot might make this easier), what text you expected to be transported, and what you got instead after transporting?

The concern with the titles was not systematic. Not all pages and posts were affected. I do not know why. I didn’t have time to make screenshots, because I modified by hand and took the opportunity to buy a PRO license of The SEO Framework ! ?? I’ve tested every WordPress SEO plugin since they’ve been around (I created my first website in 1997) and The SEO Framework is the best. I can explain why, but the list of benefits is very long…
