Titles and metas are broken

Yea, I just updated my plugin to the latest version, and I’m getting this same issue for my default SEO title

This has been fixed in v1.5.4.1.

I’m also having this problem when updated to v1.5.4.1 ??

Pui Chan, please clear your browser cache, the issue was caused by a changed js file not having been minified and your browser might still be using a cached version of the old minified file rather than the new version from 1.5.4.1 which *does* contain the changes.

I also facing the same problem with 1.5.4.1 and cleared browser cache also but the problem is same now also. anyone can tell me how much time will take to my SEO title will appear.

hi.. could someone explain how to force rewrite titles exactly? stuck with the problem even after clearing cache.

ok so i enabled ‘Force rewrite titles’ in SEO -> Titles & Meta settings page. also cleared browser cache. still problem exists.
could it be because CDN has cached it? anybody?

While I’m not sure about the title re-writes, I 100% agree that the meta-descriptions are broken for the past 2 releases of the plugin.

Cache’s have been cleared as suggested.

Meta-Description for posts is set to %%excerpt%%

CDN caching it – yes, all caches which could contain the .js file need to be cleared, otherwise you may not be served the updated file.
The issue has been fixed in v1.5.4.1 of WPSEO. If you don’t see it, check where else there might be a cache you need to clear.

That would make sense *if* I was using a CDN, but since I’m not and I’m having the problem on a self hosted site… seems to me that something else is going on.

Resolved for me. I’m using WPEngine with their CDN.
