titles' alignment and changing styles

Hello,
I have some issues with titles not aligning to the input area. I have created a table with title on the left and input area on the right. It all looks good, except where rows with text area or multiple drop-down selections menu are (large box), the title is on the bottom of a table cell and not in the center like I intend. Does anybody know how to fix it? I tried inserting div tage with align center, but it’s not working.
Also, how do i go about changing styles? Adding to style.php? Does anyone have some experiences with that? I would absolutely appreciate your help!
