• Is there a way to add a tagline or slogan to a title on a page? Example, I create a new page, and enter the page title in the field at the top of the Edit Page form — “My Page.” That “My Page” then of course appears on the published page. But what if I wanted to have as that page title: “My Page” “This is the best little page in the world!” And what I’m wanting to do is to have the “My Page” in the original title size, but also have the “This is the best little page in the world!” appear alongside but in a much smaller size text. Sort of like the page’s tagline or a slogan of sorts. I’m not finding any way to do that either inside of WP or inside of Genesis (which I’m using). Is there someplace to do that which I’m just not finding, or is there a plugin of some sort that allows for you to customize page titles like that?

  • Well any theme can do that.

Do you need help with Genesis? Wrong forum.

I suggest you make custom pages, for example.

No, don’t think that at this point that it is something that I need help with in Genesis as I suspect that I should be able to do this inside of WP itself. As for custom pages, I did look at the Page Template page inside of the WP Theme Handbook and so I see that I can manually go inside of pages and tweak the PHP files for any page. But I’d think that there could be an easier way to do this — such as a plugin that will do that (create a custom page as a new page, modify the code, add a subtitle or something like that).
