Title / Page / Sep / Sitename — Confused!

  • Does it HELP SEO to have a Sitename along with a Title?

    My Title code in the Header.php looks like this:
    <title><?php wp_title(''); ?></title>

    In the Yoast Plugin SEO > Titles & Meta Under HOME, Post Types should I keep all of the following as is??

    %%title%% %%page%% %%sep%% %%sitename%%

    Should I delete %%sep%% %%sitename%% and just use the Title and Page?

    I do think I need to keep Page since I am having a blog on my front page (‘latest post’) and my website home page with old posts are on https://www.domain.com/page/2

    I have removed %%sep%% %%sitename%% but the sitename is still showing???

    I’ve got a similar problem, my site name is posting twice with the generic information in there. The second site name is all one word (the actual site name is two words)
