Title of the shipping method creates confusion

    Hello,

    Thank you very much for developing this wonderful plugin! I have taken 10 minutes to complete the entire process.

    I use your plugin to manage shipping rates within the European Union, for the rest of the world I use the plugin “WooCommerce UPS”.

    I created specific groups to the European Union, restricting the rest of the world countries .. when the user chooses a country that is not within European Union you should only see the shipping method by UPS but the title of shipping method creates with your plugin does not disappear from the list and creates confusion.

    What can I do to make the title of the shipping method disappears when is unnecessary?

    I hope you understand and can help me solve this drawback..

  • I just ran into the same problem. Since I couldn’t figure out how to choose the rest of the world with this plugin so that I can generally set up shipping prices for any country other than US, I had to use this plugin in conjunction with WooCommerce’s International Delivery option. Now if someone calculates shipping for any other country than the US, they see Woocommerce’s shipping option and the title of this plugin’s option with no price. I don’t want this plugin’s option to show if shipping is outside of US because this plugin’s shipping option is only FOR the US so it doesn’t apply and by it showing, it could be confusing. Thus, I labeled it US Shipping so international customers will know to click the other option. But regardless of if they do or not, it seems that if they proceed to checkout, the right option is chosen for them anyway. So, I recommend just naming them in a way that your customers will know which one to click until a fix has been provided, Vicente.

    Perhaps the biggest problem is not the confusion that may create in the user see a shipping method that does not correspond with his location. I think it’s more worrying that the shipping method created with this plugin seems to be always the default shipping metod in any situation, even when it should not be displayed and shown anyway without any kind of price.

    In this case the user could complete the payment without having to pay for shipping the product, in my opinion this is a huge inconvenience and I can not continue to use this plugin until this error is resolved.

    Latest update fixes this, the shipping method is shown only for countries that have rates defined.
