    Hi,

For each shipping module of Woocommerce, I have the ability to change the “title” attribute.
Here, it is always “bpost shipping” and I can not change.

Unfortunately, it seems to not mean something clear for my customers and I would like to change the title. So it will appear with ahother label on the shopping cart and order page.

Where can I change this ?

    Best regards,

    David Luyten

    Hi David,

This is the official name for the plugin, it can indeed not be changed.

    Kind regards,

Off course but all the plugins are giving the ability (inside the admin pages of Woocommerce ) to change the label.
    Why not the bpost one?
As quick fix, can you give me the name of the var? Because it is also not translated, otherwise I had changed the label via the translation files.

    Dear David,

What’s your intention to change the bpost plugin name ? and according to you, what would be the best plugin name ?

When bpost started analysing the bpost plugin, we decided to force the name of the plugin for a marketing point a view.
Indeed, bpost has to make themselves known within the small Woocommerce world, therefore it’s important for us that any user can recognize at a glance that delivery is insured thanks the bpost plugin.

Nevertheless, if in the futur, we see a demand of this “functionnality” we will not hesitate to develop it. In the meanwhile, I insure you that it should stay as is.

    Thanks for your feedback

No, of course not the plugin name !!!
Just the label on shopping cart page. As available for ALL the plugins in the small WordPress (more than 25% of worldwide websites coverage) and Woocommerce.

Why ? Because the label “bpost shipping” doesn’t mean something for a customer. Even for a belgian customer it is not translated (at least “Envoi via bPost”) and for an international customer… (???).

I can use another plugin with all the usual settings available to propose the delivery. If the price to pay to avoid address encoding is losing customers… It is better to drop your plugin and re-encode.

Or perhaps, DPD plugin is developped following Woocommerce standards…
    I will try…

    Dear David,

The label on the shopping cart page is updated accordingly with the session’s language.
Like in said in a previous post, it’s for a marketing point of view that we did this choice.

Nevertheless, you still have the option to modify the plugin yourself as the license allows it.

    Kind Regards
