Title lost when the front page displays changes to a static page

    Hi,
    I have changed my front page through the menu of admin from showing posts to showing a static page (in the CHOOSE CONTENT AND LAYOUT under Front page displays).
    The boxes below the featured pages do not show the titles of the pages.
    So, when i select “A static page” under Front page displays something happens and the titles of the pages are not shown.
    When I select “Your latest posts” in the front page everything works fine and the titles are shown.
    Any idea about this? How can i show the titles when I select “A static page” display?

    I found out to solve. it might not be a pretty sol but seems to work.
    1. create a empty page
    2. change the layout to static and point to the empty page.
    3. go to empty page and add the text you want to display, including the title that are show when post view is selected.
    4. now it will show the titles in a static page.
    hope this help. any better solution is welcomed.
