Title image not showing on hover

Hi @zabriskie73, could you provide a link to your site and point me to the image you’re referring to, so I can take a look?

ALT text is meant to be read by screen reader software, while not many themes make use of the description field. If you’d like to expose text to all visitors, and not just screen reader users, I’d suggest the Caption field.

I’m not aware of any special image-hover behaviour in Twenty Twenty-Two, is there something you saw on a demo site somewhere that I could look at? Thanks!

PS : I precise that i’m working essentially with GridBuilder plug-in. But anyway, the titles are not showing even if I put an image in standard block.

Are you looking to output a Title attribute on the image block, which would appear as a small pop-up overlay?

The Title attribute is not supported on the image block, no matter what theme is used, so if you’d like a tooltip-like pop-up to appear on your image block, you can try a plugin solution.
