• Update: this MAY be caused by a bug in the theme, but not sure. -2 stars for 2 day support delay and 2 hours wasted after filing a clear original bug report.

Plugin stupidly puts title in the description, and author hasn’t even bothered to test and fix it. Workaround is to add the full HTML to the source code box rather than use the pre-built boxes in the page.

This is ridiculous… Adding a 1 star review is definitely not a good way to start working out the issue. I have very little understanding and tolerance for such kind of behavior.

The plugin is open source software. I maintain it in my spare time, which btw is extremely little. Please collaborate and provide the details I asked for in order to reproduce the issue.

I already did, which is why you earned a 1-star review. I told you already, and I hate repeating myself. I found a hack to make your plugin do what it’s supposed to. I reported it for mostly your benefit and the many others you’re screwing over until it’s fixed.

What you are having a hard time to understand is that I am not your employee. Please collaborate.

This is the forum post in which this reviewer has described the issue he encounters. Your feedback is welcome and much appreciated.

    support delay?

I’m not going to waste more time with you. Support by the community of users is all that is available. Getting a response might take some time. Nobody is obliged to reply to bug reports that are stupid!

The problem you reported is not related to Add-Meta-Tags. Tried many times to reproduce it. Check your theme or other plugins!

    Note to Add-Meta-Tags users #2:

This review is based on assumptions that only exist in the reviewer’s imagination. The reviewer has absolutely no idea what he is talking about. Please, do not waste your time.

Note to users – George doesn’t know how his plugin works. He claims it only affects meta info between the commented tags, but it does in fact change the title tag too. It even says so right in the plugin: “Enter a custom title to be used in the title tag. %title% is expanded to the current title.”

This is insane! First thing is to know what you are talking about, which most obviously is not the case here.

Read my last posts in the relevant topic thoroughly. They will help you understand what the “problem” is. The issue is not related to Add-Meta-Tags, but to the theme you use.

Please, stop being an idiot and stop wasting my time!

Please, ask someone to remove this irrelevant and misleading review that is based on your stupid assumptions!

I am shocked to realize that such a clueless idiot like you uses my work to make money and also wastes my free fking time with his idiotic assumptions and accusations for two consecutive days!

At least show some self respect and ask a mod to remove this stupid review, because it is irrelevant and misleading, since it adds a rating to the plugin based on things that do not exist (bug) or not provided (commercial grade support).

I’d be extremely glad if you stopped using my plugin right now!

Who do you think you are nickth?

“-2 stars for 2 day support delay and 2 hours wasted after filing a clear original bug report”
“I told you already, and I hate repeating myself”

    Purely ego guy….

This discussion (and also the relevant forum topic) most certainly got out of control. I’m not proud of some of my replies as well. It should remind us our mistakes and I hope we (including Nick) have learned one thing or two from it about good behavior.
