• The title font is not matching the the theme preview. What font is that and how do we get it to work in the theme?

  • Hi @sgumby

At first, thank you for choosing our theme and service.

Please share your website URL and we will check for the mentioned issue, the free theme has few options to change the title font and we will compare your website with the theme options

    Kind Regards

I’d rather not share the link publicly. Under Typography in the theme customizer you have Open Sans, Kalam and Rokkitt. None of those match the font you use for the title. My assumption is that you are just using google fonts for all of these so I just want to have the theme match the preview image. Please tell us what font you used and then I’d suggest updating your free version to have this font.

I never heard back from you. What font do you use in your preview photo for the title? The fonts don’t match your preview. I have a client willing to pay for your pro version but if you can’t make the free one function correctly and you can’t respond to support I’m hesitant to let them pay you.

    Well, that’s unfortunate.

For pro or commercial product support please contact the developer directly on their site. This includes any pre-sales topics as well.

As the developer is aware, commercial products are not supported in these forums. I am sure they will have no problem supporting you there.

I’m not asking for pro support. I’m asking for support on their free theme. The font used for the header title is not available in the free version we want that font. At least if they could provide the name of the font would allow me to possibly find it in google fonts.

    Hello,

The font is “Dancing Script” and yes it’s available in the pro version of our theme.

    Kind regards

I think its extremely misleading to have a preview of your theme using a font that isn’t available unless you upgrade to pro. I understand why you need to have pro options…… I just want you to be clear up front with what is free and available at www.remarpro.com and what we need to pay for. I don’t think that’s asking too much….

    Hi again,

This is just an image which can be created with photoshop for example, if it was a text with following font you would be right but it’s just an image.
I understand your concern but it’s totally acceptable practise, cause many logos contain text of course and those texts are parts of image as well

    Kind regards,

The theme should match the preview when installed. Some will say this is just my opinion. But I point my clients at www.remarpro.com to pick a theme and they want the theme they pick…..and then we customize from there. If they pick a theme and I install it and it looks nothing like the preview that’s misleading. It doesn’t make me look bad because I didn’t develop the theme. It makes YOU look bad because the theme doesn’t match the preview.

As far as I can tell that Ashe logo is not included and the font used to create it is not included.

All I’m trying to suggest is you include that font for free and then definitely let us upgrade to get more fonts and features. If I install a free theme that works and matches the preview I then have no problem recommending my clients pay for an upgrade because now you’ve earned our trust.

You have a nice enough looking theme that I’ve used it multiple times for basic blogging sites. I’d like to use it more but not have to spin my wheels fixing stuff….

    Hello again,

The font mentioned by you isn’t used on demos but just image created with logo text with the font specified but in photoshop, so if font appears in image it doens’t mean that demo is built with respective font.
Sorry for inconvenience but if you upload header image with inbuilt text there can be any font but it’s still just an image.

    Kind regards,
    George
