Title Caption and Link on a Single Image

  • I want to do something that seems very simple but doesn’t seem to work with single images in NextGen galleries, only with images that are stored in the WordPress media library.

    I want to display a single image that has a link to another page, has a title above and description below. When I use [singlepic id=N w=N h=N float=none template=caption] I get the error message:[Not a valid template]

    TITLE (from Alt/Title text field)
    Single Image (with link to another page)
    Caption (from Description field)

    @mary Ahern – There is no template used with the [singlepic] shortcode, but you can use the link parameter to link the image elsewhere (it will only open in a new tab/window).

    Has anyone made a custom template that will put the title above and caption below?
