Title and Tagline removal

A good option to do that very fast is the free Yoast SEO plugin:

It will allow you to fine-tune title for site and each page.

But it doesn’t always solve that kind of issue. If your theme is also trying to use

wp_title or wp_info as title for page

in header.php, this can create conflict.

But first easy step is to put WordPress SEO, and check if titles are better.

try to add via a custom CSS plugin:

.logo h1, .logo .desc { text-indent: -9999px; }

or:

.logo h1, .logo .desc { visibility: hidden; }
