Title and Caption not displaying on Images

Hi npsupport,

Do you have the option “Lightbox” set to “Main image only” if you navigate to the “Premium” area of the “Options” tab? Also, could you please check if you have image title and caption added to the image and it shows when you browse the image in the WordPress gallery?

“Lightbox” is set to “Yes” I’ve tried setting it to “Main image only” and get the same results. Only the main image is having the title and captions added to “data-ulbtitle” and “data-ulbdescription” fields.

All the images have title and caption and they show up in the media library and when I got to the attachment page.

Are you using the “Ultimate Lightbox Plugin” along with UPCP to display the lightbox? If not, could you please install “Lightbox” plugin from here and see if that fixes this? Also, do you remember making any changes to the code or any option that you think might conflict with UPCP/Lightbox plugin?
Also, if you’re not on the latest version of both the plugins, could you please update to the latest version of both the plugins and see if that fixes the issue?

I’ve installed the light box plugin nothing has changed, wordpress and product catalog are at their latest versions.

We did some further testing and it’s only showing on the first image for us as well, regardless of what setting we’ve put.

We’ll take a look to see if we can get captions to appear on other images.

we got the same problem with showing with the picture information in the Lightbox.
For the Main Product Image, the lightbox shows the Info but not for the additional Pictures.

The latest UPC and Lightbox Versions are installed.

When you go to the “Media” page of your admin area, can you confirm that the additional images for your products have either a title or a caption?

yes, all fields are filled with the needed informations but you only can see it for the main product image…

Unfortunately, in most cases, the caption will only display on the first image. That being said, we just released a new update to the lightbox plugin, which now includes several new options and refinements, including an option to specify the source of the overlay text. You can install the new version of the lightbox plugin and test these new settings, to see if you can get closer to what you want to achieve.

the latest version of lightbox i have installed. The overlay text source i have set to “Caption” (and for testing to “Alt Text”) But nothing happens. Only the Main image shows the Text overlay….

after 4 month the problem isnt solved: I have installed the newest versions of lightbox and upcp and nothing happens. Only the main image shows picture informations. The additional pictures not.

Our customer needs urgently an solution. What can we do?

Unfortunately, there’s currently no option to have overlay text appear in the lightbox for images other than the main image. It’s unlikely that this will be something we’ll be able to add in the near future.
