    theme: 2013 v1.2

if i understand the v4 changes correctly, the editor toolbar is supposed to float so that it remains visible, but it doesn’t

i thought this might be because i am using the default editor-style.css file for the 2013 theme, so i swapped it with the 2014 one and that did not resolve the issue.

    anyone?

found the problem – it was a browser extension issue that others are very unlikely to run into

Please enlighten me! I’m having the exact same issue.

    hi Fadookie

the extension that caused the issue was a setting in HTTP UserAgent Cleaner, but i don’t recall which setting it was

that ext. is rather obscure, but if you are using Firefox and have any extensions that affect the HTTP headers (usually privacy related stuff), try disabling them

    also try a clean profile

I figured out what the issue was for me actually, it turned out to be a problem with the permissions on my site that was causing jquery to not be served up properly. I detailed it in a response to bug 29520.
