• Hello,

I am dealing with very annoying tinyMCE “bug”.

When I cut (ctrl+x) and paste (ctrl+v) images in a visual style, image path gets changed from:

    <a href="www.domain.com/photos/folder/7.php"><img src="wwww.domain.com/photos/folder/tn_7.jpg" alt="" /></a>

    to:

    <a href="../photos/folder/7.php"><img src="../photos/folder/tn_7.jpg" alt="" /></a>

Do you have any suggestion what to do?

    Thank you in advance!

I gave up on this. Spent 5 hours searching for solution, but can’t find it.

Same issue here. It’s very annoying. I copy an absolute link and paste it via visual editor and it pastes the relative path. WordPress doesn’t handle relative paths well so why would the default be to paste them?

    Please help us.

OMG! It’s a Firefox issue. It pastes absolute links in Explorer on Window but not in Firefox on windows or Mac.

Should this be reported as a bug though since Firefox is one of the most popular browsers?

Thanks Robanna! I couldn’t explain this odd behaviour…
It also works fine on Chrome (Mac OS X).
