TinyMCE Excerpt causing issues after WP 2.8.1 upgrade

After I upgraded I immediately noticed I couldn’t use plugin features from TinyMCE, like nextgen gallery. The small window displays my homepage instead.

Now, all of a sudden, I can’t load images into my posts – they instead load into the TinyMCE Excerpt box. I deactivated the plugin but the plugin’s functionality is still present, causing the same issues.

Anyone know how I can fix these issue? Thank!
