• Currently i am using version (Version 2.9.5) i believe this is the latest version. When i try to open an existing text block it gives me this error “Tinymce Error!”.

When i try to open a image or a button to change the link address the screen just freezes and i have to exit the page, I am not sure whats going on here, I tried to update my wordpress and the same issue was happening.

Does anybody have an idea what could be the cause ?

  • Yes, also experience this. Try to edit the backend of the website and follow tutorials! Nothing works!

There is a compatibility issue with Yoast SEO plugin, you can disable it while you make changes and enable it again.

Yoast is going to fix/address this issue in the next release

It doesn’t work even when we disable Yoast SEO.

    we get : Tinymce Error!

    Console error :

kc.tools.js?ver=2.9.5:1107 TypeError: Cannot read property 'get' of undefined
        at Object.r [as go] (editor.min.js?ver=5.5:formatted:22)
        at Object.init (kc.tools.js?ver=2.9.5:1082)
        at Object.data.callback (eval at v.template (underscore.min.js?ver=1.8.3:formatted:954), <anonymous>:36:20)
        at kc.params.js?ver=2.9.5:951

Same for me, it doesn’t seem that there is a problem with Yoast SEO, the developers of TinyMCE said that there seems to be an integration problem with the TinyMCE plugin but developed by KingComposer. So KingComposer has to fix their implementation of TinyMCE, I get the same error as @nedrosat

I have the same, and even deactivating yoast doesn’t help. The error is not shown longer but my save button is not functional.

any updates? It’s highly concerning, I can’t do anything on my webpage.

We have the same error and we don’t even use Yoast SEO. I’ve never even installed it. It is 100% King Composer error.
