    Hello,

I allow myself to contact you because we have installed the Woodex theme on WordPress and for some time we are experiencing problems. We can no longer edit and save our pages. A message appears “Tinymce Error!” when we want to modify a block. The page builder is King Composer. I tried to disable Yoast SEO but this has no effect on the problem. We need to make many changes and we cannot. Our website is a significant customer source for our company, this problem is really important for the image of our company…

Do you have a patch file or procedure to resolve this issue ?

    Wordpress : 5.5.1
    Woodex : 1.8
    King Composer : 2.9.5

Thank you in advance for your help.

    Best Regards,

  • Salut Pierre,

no they actually don’t, and the last 5 messages on this support forum are related to it, and it seems that nobody actually cares. It’s really annoying it seems this plugin is almost abandonned.

Your support request has fallen on deaf ears. The author has not responded to any request in more than a year.

Ok, I’ve found a workaround solution… Install and activate the plugin “Test jQuery Updates” and configure & save the settings like this:

    jQuery version: Default

    jQuery Migrate: Enable

    jQuery UI version: 1.12.1

King Composer should now function as previously.

The issue results from the latest WordPress version update which deprecates some jQuery functions.

    Hope that helps!

Thanks.. It started working with “Test jQuery Updates” plugin & mentioned settings.

    Hello,

I contacted king composer by email, he seems still alive, I don’t know why he does not answer here … Indeed, the developer of my theme advised me this same plugin ??
