• I have some plugins installed in my website and some of the plugins I can use to embed certain type of data in post by clicking on the plugin button in TinyMCE editor. When I click on the plugin button a popup windows opens but instead of opening the plugin’s configurable options it shows me the 404 Error page. This is happening for every button in TinyMCE editor which opens an inner window/dialog box/popup.I even tried resetting the permalinks to default but that did not help. I also switched off all the plugins and tested them one by one but that did not work either.

    Here is the error snapshot https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B2xvqq9TGjQpbGhLMFV0cGJ6SVk/edit
    A few plugins i m using :

    DsIDXpress
    WordPress Post Tabs

    How do I fix it?

    I just had this problem. Check the .htaccess file in wp-includes/ directory.
    Dunno why but it had this
    <Files *.php>
    deny from all
    </Files>
    <Files wp-tinymce.php>
    allow from all
    </Files>
    I deleted the .htaccess file and it now all works.
