Hi. I recently upgraded to WP 2.3.1, and since then the WYSIWYG editor used for page and post editing has been broken. The tool bar appears, but when I click on any of the buttons no actions occur and instead I get javascript errors relating to TinyMCE. These include: “tinyMCE.switchClassSticky is not a function”.

This occurs in both IE and FireFox, with javascript enabled in both. I tried disabling all my WP plugins, after which I I shut down the browser, but that didn’t resolve it. It happens regardless of whether I have my security suite software disabled or not. I’ve checked that the “Use the visual editor when writing” option is enabled for my user account. I’ve double checked all the TinyMCE files, and they are all uploaded and match WP 2.3.1.

Any thoughts on how I can get this resolved (aside from diabling the WYSIWYG editor)? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks. Drew.

Ok, my bad. I had missed a folder. In case someone else runs into this issue, the folder in question was “wp-includes/js/tinymce/themes/advanced”. After updating all folders and files here the WYSIWYG editor worked again.

Thanks a lot! This one helps! I compared the folder from the other domain to the one with errors and some gif and jpeg files are messed up.. i have no idea why. I copy the correct file and now it works ?? thank you so much for pointing the folder.
