• I apologize if this have been discussed before, but I am having a problem with TinyMCE WYSIWYG editor in WordPress 2.0. I have disabled it from both the user data page and from the options, but when I turned both those options later, it has not been enabled – all I see is the old plain text board with the quick tags. Please, can anybody tell me how can I turn on TinyMCE now? Thanks in advance.

I have stated a wrong question above for which I apologize. It seems that somehow WP2.0 doesn’t show the TinyMCE editor at all when installed on my hosting provider’s machine no matter turned on or off, compared to local installation where it shows perfectly when turned on. Has anybody noticed such problems?

Yes, I have noticed this problem. We can’t get the wysiwyg editor to “turn on”, no matter what we do.

    linux server with php 4.3.1

    Any help?
