    Lucky you.

Did you add a plugin or mod anything?
Also, try clearing your browser’s cache.

    Thanks for the reply!

I didn’t add a plugin, but I tested a couple of other themes. When I went back to mine, tinymce wasn’t working. I’ve tried others, but it’s not working with them either. It’s my understanding tinymce is out of the box, so I don’t have to add a plugin, but now I’m not sure what to do!

    Any help appreciated!

Same issue wit me i didn’t add any plugin ,i cleared cache still editor is disable..I already enabled editor in my profile But demo wp in pc work well wit same browser.

Here is the patch that solve this problem.

    https://downloads.sourceforge.net/tinymce/tinymce_compressor_php_1_1_0.zip?modtime=1166714672&big_mirror=0

    Just copy:

    tiny_mce_gzip.php
    tiny_mce_gzip.js

to your wp-includes/js/tinymce/ directory and overwrite old files

    TinyMCE will be back ??
    Enjoy !

i tried that. mine is still missing! next option? i downloaded a tinymce advanced plug in to see if it wud magically reappear, no such luck

The files W01 notes are not named as such in hte TinyMCE directory.

Are we supposed to rename these files to the corresponding files in the TinyMCE folder?

Why is this Visual Editor such a huge pain in hte ass and always breaking?
