TinyMCE 3.4.5 and the 3.3 upgrade – linebreaks

I updated my site from 3.2.1 to 3.3.1 and I believe it’s the TinyMCE upgrade to 3.4.5 from the wp 3.3 upgrade that’s causing my issue.

I use descriptions for my menus and in 3.2.1 I was able to have linebreaks in the text area. Since I updated to 3.3.1 I can’t get those linebreaks to stick.

In the TinyMCE properties I’ve set ‘remove_linebreaks’ => false, from ‘remove_linebreaks’ => true, but they are still being removed.

How do I get it so I can have linebreaks in the description textarea in the custom menus?
