1. The twitter card reads the full website name. How can I make it tweet a tiny url rather than the full on website address?
Customizing this can only be done programmatically. Please check the Add-Meta-Tags Cookbook which contains many customization examples. However, this has not been written for newbies, but I’m sure you will figure out how to do it. If not, please ask for sample code at github.
2. In settings, I only could find “force full image for twitter card”. I wanted to have a gallery setting (given i have more than 1 image in my post) but I cant seem to find the setting for that! Could you help? thank you so much!
Yeap, you can only choose between a summary card and a summary with large image as the default twitter card type.
Changing the card type is tied to the Post Formats feature of WordPress. Provided that your theme supports Post Formats, you can set the post format to ‘Gallery’. This will result in the generation of a ‘Gallery’ Twitter Card.
