timezone problem

Participants Database sets the PHP timezone to the same as your WordPress timezone…this fixes timezone problems with a lot of sites where PHP was reverting to the server timezone and not staying set to the WP timezone.

You can override this with a filter like this:

add_filter( 'pdb-php_timezone_sync', function () { return false; } );

I have this problem too. Where do I add the filter? Thanks.

I added the filter to the functions.php file and nothing. Doesn’t matter what I change wordpress’s timezone to, It seems to always be UTC or -2 hours from EST.

Any more thoughts on this?
