    Hey there,

I’ve tried to change the WordPress timezone to a local time, and I was running into a big issue.

Currently, I can’t change the time and the date. A lot of the plugins are also not working probably. Sadly I didn’t run a backup before it happened.

There was a critical error on your website. Please check your website administrator email address for further instructions.

I’ve already checked the databases by PhpMyAdmin, WP-DB Manager and the WordPress Repair Mode.

    Hope you can help me

    Best regards

Try manually resetting your plugins (no Dashboard access required). If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

If that does not resolve the issue, access your server via SFTP or FTP, or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel (consult your hosting provider’s documentation for specifics on these), navigate to /wp-content/themes/ and rename the directory of your currently active theme. This will force the default theme to activate and hopefully rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).

Hey James, thanks for your reply!

I’ve found a serverwide backup, which I run yesterday.
    Everything is working again.

    Thank you for your Input!

    Best regards
