Using WP 3.5.2 with Social Version 2.9.2, and Twitter Tools Version 3.0.4. I notice that when I tweet on Twitter, that tweet shows up in both the Tweets and Posts admin pages in WP almost instantaneously, with a time-stamp of the same minute I tweeted. This is reflected as the “Scheduled For” time in the Publish sidebar on the Edit Post page. Yet the tweet does not show up on the site’s Posts page for some time, if at all; it’s very erratic. I can’t see how the system can show a “Scheduled For” time that has long since passed, yet not display the tweet on the Posts page. I also can’t find anywhere to specify the default lag time for posts (if any). How is this supposed to work? It seems strange that the system auto-populates a time that has already passed, yet doesn’t display the item. Any thoughts appreciated. –RK

  • Sounds like your WP-CRON may not be working. Social doesn’t do any “delay” stuff.

Thanks, Alex. For someone who isn’t a developer, can you tell me how I would restart WP-CRON, or at least view some kind of log to see what the timing parameters are (should be default, since I haven’t edited anything). Best, –RK
