Timestamp Magic Tag

  • I need a magic tag to show the date and time that a form was submitted in the email that I receive.

    Is there one?

    Magic tag documentation concerning Date is thin to non-existant on CF’s website. Date is referenced in the doc, but there are no details on how it can be modified/used.

    Is {date} the only magic tag that can be used for a timestamp? What about the time?

    Anyone have a link to a complete list of all possible magic tags and how they can be used besides the page on CF’s own website?

  • I hear you but I can’t even get the {date} tag to work. Are you still hunting for an answer?

    Hey guys – just came across this thread.. took me a minute, but looks like you can use standard Unix formatting with the date magic tag?

    i.e., Submit Date: {date:m/d/y}? {date:H:i}

    at least does something!
