Hello. On my page are several HTTP API calls. Query Monitor indicates the total time required by all those calls to be 11.3774 seconds. But in the admin bar, Query Monitor also seems to indicate that the page loaded in only 10.82 seconds (screenshot). Why is the total page load time less than the time for all the HTTP API calls? Shouldn’t it be the other way around? Or am I misunderstanding something about one (or both) of those numbers?

    Thanks.

    Thanks for the message.

That indeed doesn’t seem correct. I’ll do some testing locally to see if I can reproduce the problem. In the meantime, do you still see the problem with all your other plugins deactivated?

Hi John. Thanks for the reply.

Well here’s the thing. I can’t seem to replicate that original issue. And it’s not a terribly critical issue for me. So if you want, I can leave it as-is, and return only if there are future issues. Alternatively, if you’re seeing similar issues on your end, I can spend some time running tests on my end, if it will help you out. Either way–let me know.

Thanks for the update, I haven’t been able to reproduce this myself but I don’t doubt that it could happen. If I have some time I’ll look into the time calculations for HTTP requests and check its accuracy.

John, listen, I can’t help it with the MailPoet plugin. He’s stupidly gone! Error!
Can you know what to do? Help when you can.
    Yours sincerely, Bogdan
