Timer is restarted when page is reloaded

I had a system before that controlled the timer much better but had many conflicts with other plugins and themes. I just uploaded update 2.7.1 which introduced a limited version of timer control that I am working on. Let me know if it solves the issue you are having.

yes, 2.7.1 solves the reset timer issue but introduces a new one.
The first time you attempt to start a quiz for an specific user, the timer is set to 0:00 and all the questions are disabled, however it allows you to submit. Once you submit the quiz for the first time, the timer start working but the user can take the quiz as many times as he or she wants, no matter if you limit the number to one.

Need your urgent help. I just updated the plugin but facing issues with the updates. When the user comes to the test page, the timer shows 0:00 by default and user is not allowed to answer any of the questions. ??
Although, I have set the timer at 10 mins but still it doesn’t start. Can you please check it ASAP.

I updated the plugin but the same problem continues, I think the reason behind this problem is the time continuation, i.e. if a user refreshes or go back, the test continues from there. I think this way user can only gives the test only once, if the time expires for him, the clock doesn’t starts for him again.
Not sure but I think this might b the issue, request you to please check.

After you updated, when the user first starts the quiz, does the timer go to 0? Or does the timer act normal the first time the user accesses the quiz? After the timer runs out and disables the fields, if the user submits the quiz and then tries to access the quiz again, does the time start over or remain at 0?

Sorry for the delay in reply!
As far as I have realized it worked for the first time after the update, but after that it’s not working, I even tried to clear the browser cookies but it’s still not working. ??

Thanks… I’ve tested with 2.7.3 and is working!
What stopped working is the option of how many times can a user take the quiz. I set it to 1 but a user can take it as many times he or she wants.
