Timer counting up unwantedly

Hello there,
I’ve just updated from jquery t(-1) Countdown to T(-1) Countdown as recommended, and now my timers which have already finished counting down are automatically count up, when before they were staying at zero properly. How do I make sure they stay at zero?

This is the short code:
[tminus t=”2019-07-01″ style=”carbonlite” omitweeks=”true”/]

Also, I tried to use an after countdown html:
[tminus t=”2019-07-01″ style=”carbonlite” omitweeks=”true”]<p align=”center”>Program is now live!!</p>[/tminus]
but it just displays the <p> and tags as actual text rather than recognizing them as html tags. Please help as I can’t have the message plain and left aligned.
