I’m building a site for an educational institution, where they need to add timetables, eg. 10:30-11:15 something is happening, between 11:15-12:00 something else.

At the moment, I’ve got a loop and am adding start and end times as text fields, but it would be much more convenient to do this with a time picker (or slider). I think the datepicker used to have a time section, but I only really need the timepicker and wanted to check if anyone has any experience with this?

I currently have cfs version 2.0.5 which is the last version with time part in date field, but I like to update to a newer version. Will the be any hack or update coming to add time part to a date field ? Thanks!

For our project we just used textfields for the times instead – and actually changed over to Advanced Custom Fields anyway. But perhaps someone else has a workaround.

Thanks for your comment. For now I changed field type to text field, which required no changes to existing code. Now we are missing date/timepicker, but we can live with that at the moment.

I haven’t found a combo date/time picker that I’m particularly happy with, so until that happens, yes a text field is your best bet.

A date start and date end with time would be really great.
