• Seeing a lot of timeouts in the last 24 hours. Customer orders not going through.

    In one case, the customer payment was taken and the order was marked as “Unpaid order cancelled – time limit reached. Order status changed from Pending payment to Cancelled.”

    It had a trust payments reference at 9:09pm then the cancelled status at 10:38pm

    How is this possible? Is it a plugin issue or is the service experiencing problems?

    This needs fixed as a matter of urgency so I have also raised with support @ trust payments

    @smilnex Thanks, but I use the same username and password on live and staging (obviously a different site reference). I haven’t had a “timed out” error since the 9th, not sure what’s changed, but nothing I’ve done.

    @murrayelliot2 Glad its working for you. Do you think its a plugin issue or username config issue? Have you given access to trust payment support to your website?

    To be honest i was getting Time out issue on the older plugin, then recently it started getting worse and worse, so i decided to update to the new plugin and now i’m not getting any successful transactions all of them have been timed out.

    @billymir , I think it’s a failure somewhere in the service chain, there’s probably a few points of failure, but only TP can tell us what those might be. Nobody has change control access to my website, I’m a control freak that way ??

    So many variables on wordpress – different plugins, different themes etc. I keep my site very light on both to minimise the risk of conflict.

    Your issue sounds horribly bad. Can you replicate it in a test environment?
