Timeout on return to merchant

My client is using this plugin on their woocommerce site and I think something stopped working when he upgraded to WP4.5.1. After entering credit card information, the users receive this message:
“An error occurred while trying to report this
transaction to the merchant. An e-mail has been sent to the merchant
informing them of the error. The following is the result of the attempt to
charge your credit card.This transaction has been approved.
It is advisable for you to contact the merchant to verify that you will
receive the product or service.”The merchant gets a message that says:
“Authorize.Net Merchant,
Your script timed out while we were trying to post transaction results to
it.
Transaction ID: 83XXXXXXXXXX
Transaction Result: This transaction has been approved.”So, the payment goes through and the merchant gets a confirmation email from Authorize.net about the payment, but the orders get switched to ‘cancelled’ status because they don’t ever get confirmation back from the payment service.
