Yes, I did on my own and then again with GoDaddy Support as we are in a hosted environment and they have some “must use” plugins that I was also suspicious about. As we turned on each plugin everything worked. We waited on Members last because we suspected that was the problem, and sure enough it was.
I did not try doing it the opposite way because the site depends on the other plugins for content and features and we want privitazing the site to then be compatible. I really like Members, but further trial-and-error shows that My Private Site plays nice with the other plugins. I’d love to go back to Members if the timeout can be fixed.
