Timeline functionality questions

Hello people at viaviweb,
i am currently building this website using wordpress 3.9.2

My clients would like to incorporate a vertical timeline in their portfolio-projects page as a list with all their projects (1984-now). I found your plugin and i am currently testing it, using your “events” as “portfolio project titles” (ex. 1984, event=Project X). See a test here

I would like to know:
1) When i click on an event-project title, is it possible to have a link to another URL, without expanding the date of the event?
2) Is there a way to scroll down the vertical timeline separately?
