Timed locations?

  • I’m working on a food truck blog. I’m looking for a Google map plugin that will allow me to setup timed location pins for each food truck.
    Example: Food Truck A is going to be at Location 1 from 10am-2pm and then they will be at Location 2 from 4pm-8pm.
    Is there any way to set up timed location pins so that I can insert all of the locations for each food truck on a weekly basis and have the pins appear at the correct locations throughout the week?

    Hi there,

    Thanks for the message. It is not something the plugin currently offers, though I agree it would be a very cool feature.

    The feature would need to incorporate time zones (since 5pm standard PST time is different from 5pm GMT time).

    So, the map administrator would need to set the map’s time zone, and then the app would need to calculate the site visiter’s time zone, and correctly calculate it back to the map’s.

    This would be tricky, but of course not impossible. If I come across a plugin with this functionality, I will be sure to let you know.
