Would love to know how to get the same content in to this page without having to use widgets and just short codes. Had a read of the short code documentation but its so complex I didn’t even know where to start.

Also we have a UK BST/GMT+1 and a USA EST/GMT-5 offices that I would love the we are currently closed / we are open section to work for but I cant for the life of me figure out how to make this plugin understand timezones and if its something that could be set once and left to do its thing even when the time zones change for winter and summer?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi Chris,

for shortcodes you can use the shortcode builder: https://janizde.github.io/opening-hours-shortcode-builder/

It essentially offers a similar UI as the widgets but outputs a shortcode that can be inserted into posts and pages.

The timezone is taken from the WordPress settings (Settings > General). You can choose between a regional timezone (e.g. Europe/Berlin, handles DST automatically) or a UTC offset (not handling DST). Unfortunately you cannot have multiple timezones on one site. The only option atm is to use a WordPress multisite and have one site per venue.

    Cheers
    Jannik

Thanks for the response Jannik, still no one doing an opening hour plugin with the ability to work on multiple time zones. It would be so easy to link it ot UTC and simply choose (UTC -5) as an example on a per short code basis.
