Time Zone Problem

  • I have Timely calendar 2.5 installed on my website.
    I have a feed from a Google calendar into my Timely calendar.
    All events on the Google calendar are (when looking at them on the Google site) in Pacific Time.

    When refreshing the feed, Timely interprets the Google time zones differently for individual and for recurring calendar entries:

    When setting my Timely calendar to Pacific Time (Los Angeles) as default time zone:
    – All recurring Google calendar entries show at the correct time
    – All individual Google calendar entries show 7 hrs later (GMT). e. g.: A 9am event shows as 4pm.

    When setting the Timely calendar to UTC (and “Assign default time zone = yes” in the definition of the feed) I get the reverse:
    – All individual Google calendar entries show up correctly
    – All recurring entries show 7 hours early: A 9am events shows at 2am.

    What is going wrong here? The time zone calculation should be the same for individual and recurring entries. I appreciate your help!
