    Start Times are now displaying -5 hrs. Not sure when this started happening but was working correctly a month ago. Saw FAQs that said Time Zone Adjustment field can be manipulated if there is a problem, but my feed does not have that option.
    :::
    The start and end times of my events are not displaying in the correct timezone, how do I make them display correctly?

    First, check that the timezone of your Google Calendar is set correctly (in the calendar settings in Google Calendar), then check that the ‘Timezone adjustment’ option in the plugin feed settings is set correctly.
    :::
    I see in the screen shots that the time zone adjustment field should be just below the Time Format field, but I do not have that field.

  • I have the same issue. Funny though, the mouse-over on the widget & full calendar page the pop-up shows the right time. But when you click on the more details in the pop-up the time shown the time as GMT-05:00.

    And as Paullee says above there is no Timezone Adjustment available in the Edit Feed settings.

    Your help to resolve this will be appreciated -thx Chip

    Oops, actually the time I need is GMT-05:00 but rather is seems to be showing GMT-01:00.

    IE: I want 7pm to 9pm but what shows when details is opened is 11pm to 1am

    There are no longer any timezone adjustment fields in the current version.

    I am guessing you have done this, but I just want to make sure also. Have you checked both your WordPress configuration ( under General Settings) timezone and the actual timezone for the calendar?

    And just to make sure I am understanding, it is the display on the hover that is showing the wrong time or the events are showing up when the time has passed already?

    Thanks

    Both the Google Calendar and WordPress General settings are set to Central Time Zone.

    It is the display that is off.

    We had a non-profit board meeting at 7pm, but folks thought it was at 2pm according to the widget. I had to remove the widget temporarily otherwise I would send you the URL. Is there a way to show you the backend settings?

    Alright thanks for the details. I will start looking into it on my side. I shouldn’t need access to your site for anything. Thank you for your patience.

    And let me know where your donate page is. I always buy beers for any free plugins. You developers need to be thanked.

    I am having the exact same issue as above. I verified the timezone setting in both WordPress and Google Calendar is set properly (CST).

    thanks so much for this awesome plugin – I’m sure you will nail this issue.

    Yep, I checked all timezone settings for the plugin and WP. All are set correctly, but the “More Details . . .” when opened shows the wrong time.

    A great plugin, but sure hope this gets fixed.

    @chipcain

    Do you have a link you can provide?

    I am trying to figure out what is going on here. When you click on “More details” and the time is wrong, are you logged into a Google Account or are you just viewing it as a public non logged in viewer?

    Also, I am assuming you are using version 2.0.5. Was this working on 2.0.3.1 for you?

    Thanks for any info you can provide, trying to get this worked out for you guys.

    Hi Nick,
    I really appreciate your effort with this.

    Here is the link https://www.harrisburgcameraclub.org/ it is a public page. Note both the widget on the right sidebar & the calendar page: see menu item “Events & News Calendar” have the same issue.

    If I am logged into the Google Calendar and then select “More details…” the correct time show. For non logged in viewers the shows the wrong times.

    I cannot verify when this took place since one of our users pointed it out to me just three days ago. But yes I have the latest version 2.0.5.

    Let me know if I can provide anything else you need.

    Thanks,
    Chip

    Hi, just wanted echo this – I’ve checked the local calendar setting, the wordpress timezone setting, etc … having an issue where one of my clients clicks on the event and gets the wrong time, though I see it correctly. Super strange. Wanted to throw that out there just in case it was related.

    I updated to the latest version: 2.0.5

    And everything seems to be working with the time showing correctly.

    Thank you.

    Awesome, thank you for letting us know.

    Yep, it works for me as well. Thanks Bunches!

    I know this is old and has been marked resolved, but I’m experiencing the same problem described using version 2.2.6. Has the bug crept back in or is it just me?
