I moved to a different server last week and since then I have noticed some really weird behaviour when I publish new blog entries.

I’ll type something and publish it. Fine. It appears on main site. Then some time after “whoosh” it disappears from public view. I check what’s happened – it’s that the time stamp has increased by 2 or 3 hours and so it’s become a “future” post.

Obviously I can change it back when it happens but it’s damn annoying – and weird that it does it after it’s published. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to find out what’s doing this?

  • maybe the server did a backup and restore or had time change?

is this one of your servers or a site remotely that hosts?

It’s hosted one someone else’s servers. I did think that it could be time change thing but it’s happened more than once now and at different times of the day :-/

It just seems really odd that it’s actually *changing* the time of the entry _after_ it’s published. The only reason I noticed it the second time was because a friend asked me where the video I had just posted had gone…

This isn’t the only wp install on my account so I’m going to get the person who uses the other one to check as well.
